I am reading The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funky. I predict this chapter will be about Prosper and Bo reuniting at Ida's BIG house. I think this because Bo is at Ida's BIG house waiting for Prosper to return. I wonder if Renzo will Raid Barbosas shop, because Barbosa owes Renzo something.
While I was reading I had a few questions. The first one I had was where does the story take place? I found out the answer is Venice.
The other question I had was does Ida have butlers? I found out the answer is yes. Also I had trouble with the word Venice. I found it out using the break up strategy.I found out that it is a city in Italy.

ReplyDeleteNice job on your post. I would like to see you add in more details. You did a fantastic job with details in your prediction, but the answer to your questions were pretty skimpy! You continue to say you used the "break up strategy" to figure out the meaning of words, but so far I don't think any of the words you've chosen could be clarified with the break up strategy. That is for words that have multiple parts and you know the meaning of some of them, like "undeveloped". You know that "un" means not and "developed" means created or built, so "undeveloped" would be not created or built. Understand?
